Thank You For Reserving
We recieved your reservation and you are locked in our calendar. Our movers will call you about 5-10 mins prior to arriving at your starting address to update you and to meet outside by the truck for a smooth start. Please read the following important information below regarding your upcoming move.
Please follow these guidelines to ensure a speedy and smooth move:
- Our movers will call you about 5-10 mins prior to arriving to let you know to meet them outside by the truck where your loading area will be, they will call you from one of their cell phones so please be on the lookout for a call.
- Clock starts once movers arrive on location and stops once the customer confirms the back of the truck is empty and all tools, dollies, and equipment are back inside the truck at the end of the move.
- Movers are required to fold up furniture pads during the move to make sure working conditions are safe & hazard free inside the truck.
- Any furniture left inside the truck for movers to dispose of is billed an additional $150.
- Any extra stop is billed at an additional $150 per extra stop.
- Pack all loose items in boxes/bags and securely tape boxes so movers can stack boxes efficiently. Our movers will handle furniture, boxes, bags, and totes, but no loose items.
- Our movers will use furniture pads and shrink wrap for your TVs, couches, tables, nightstands, and fragile glass furniture. If you want the move to go faster you can tell the movers not to wrap certain furniture.
- Consider disassembling furniture like bed-frames, wall-mounted TVs, and tables before our movers arrive to make your move go quicker but rest assured, our team will bring basic hand tools for disassembly/reassembly.
Packing Tips:
- Consider using trash bags for the following items below: Pillows, Blankets, Comforters, Stuffed Animals, Throw Pillows, Sleeping Bags, Cushions, Towels, Winter Coats, Bedding Sets, and Clothes. This will drastically keep your moving costs low since you wont have to take up space for boxes.
- Use towels and linens when packing fragile glassware, plates, glass cups, etc. They work extrememly well in replace of packing paper. You might still have to use packing paper if you run out of linens but they work well for packing fragile items such as those, another tip is using basic t shirts for more padding while packing fragile items in boxes.
- When packing your items you can stack 4 boxes high to allow more room for you during the packing phase and this will allow the movers to grab those boxes quickly with a dolly when they arrive.
- Please remove all lamp shades from lamps to keep them safe and pack them in a box or leave them out for the movers to place safely in the truck. You can remove the lamp shade by untwisting the screw at the top of the lamp then remove the lamp shade and put the screw back so you don’t lose the screws.
- When packing up your silverware, if they are in a silverware tray, the best way to pack this is to keep the silverware inside the silverware tray and wrap it with one hand towel and tape it all around to secure the forks, spoons, knives, etc.
- Please pack boxes to the top and tape very good so that other boxes can be stacked safely on top. If there is any FRAGILE boxes please label them FRAGILE and tell the movers so they can be sure to safely handle and stack them in a safe place inside the truck.
We look forward to moving you!
